I hand make these elegant, useful and simple hair sticks from solid brass. Hand hammered into shape from thick wire for extra strength so they will last. Because each pin is handmade the hair pin you will receive may differ slightly from the one pictured.
The metal is not plated and is natural brass which may patina or tarnish over time. Your hair pin will come with a small polishing kit.
Fit guide: For longer, thicker hair please select a longer hair stick. For thinner, shorter hair please choose a shorter hair stick. In general lightweight is better for very fine and thin hair, midweight is ideal for most people, and heavyweight is better for thicker/longer hair. However, all hair types are different and it can depend on the person and the styling.

Beautiful hair stick! I have thick heavy hair and this stick is long enough to hold up half or all of my hair. Love the hammered look.

I believe this is my fourth or fifth time purchasing one of Laurel's hair sticks. I absolutely love them. They are beautiful and work wonderfully in my hair. I have very long hair (over 24 inches long) and these hair sticks keep my hair up all day. The bun just looks so much more put together and chic with the hair stick vs a clip or hair tie. The hair stick shipped quickly and also generously came with a little polishing kit. Highly recommend!
